T-GUARD
The future: the new ANSI Z87.1 (2003) standard allows lenses as thin as 2.0mm.
The challenge: Design a new safety eyewire that is "lab friendly" using 2.0mm polycarbonate lenses, while exceeding the impact standard of 150 fps.
The solution: T-Guard safety frames
The credentials: T-Guard safety frames have passed impact testing at over 300fps, more than double the standard.

PERMASHIELD
PERMAShield is On-Guard's permanent rivetless side shield system. It incorporates a unique temple/side shield design that locks shields into position (see photo 1).
A blue endpiece support has been designed to help support the frame while sliding PERMAShield into position (See photo 2).
Depending on the model, varying degrees of force is required to lock the sideshield into place. We recommend standing in order to maximize leverage. While supporting the frame in one hand, grip the side shield over the first raised point on the temple so that the side shield clip locks into position between the two raised points (See photo 3).
